On the morning of your appointment, we'll send a secure payment link via text message that allows you to pay by credit card, debit card, or ACH/bank transfer. If you prefer, we also accept cash and checks at the time of service. For appointments where the vehicle owner will not be present, payment must be completed before the technician arrives. For owner-present appointments, payment is due before the technician leaves.

We know life happens and plans can change! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we just ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $25 fee. If you’re running more than 15 minutes late, please give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but we may need to reschedule to make sure we have enough time to complete your service safely and properly.

For in-shop appointments, a $25 deposit is collected when booking and applied directly to your final total. Customers with multiple no-shows or last-minute cancellations may be asked to provide a larger deposit for future appointments.

And of course, we understand that true emergencies happen. Just communicate with us, and we’ll always do our best to work with you.

Yes. West Michigan Auto Glass has a $125 minimum charge for most services, whether the work is completed at our shop or through our mobile service.

This minimum helps cover the technician time, tools, equipment, travel, and other costs involved in providing safe, quality service, even on smaller jobs. Chip repairs within our standard service area are excluded from the $125 minimum. Not sure if the minimum applies to your service? We’re happy to clarify before you schedule.

An average install usually takes about 45-60 minutes. If you have advanced safety features such as Forward Collision Alert or Lane Departure Warning System it can take anywhere from 60-90 minutes for the complete process.

Every chip is a little different! A repair will generally improve the appearance of the damage by about 75-90%, depending on the age, contamination, size, and severity of the chip.

While the damage will still be visible after the repair, it should be less noticeable. Chip repair is primarily preventative, not cosmetic. The goal is to strengthen the damaged area and help prevent it from spreading, rather than make it disappear completely.

Prefer to handle the claim yourself or work directly with your insurance agent? No problem! Just let them know you’d like West Michigan Auto Glass to complete the work, and they can send the claim directly to us.

Michigan weather likes to keep us on our toes! During colder months, mobile installations require temperatures above 37°F or a heated, enclosed space, such as a two-stall garage, shop, or heated barn.

If it’s raining, snowing, or there’s any other precipitation, we must have an enclosed space to complete your installation; we can’t safely install glass outdoors in wet weather.

No garage? No worries! You’re always welcome at our Grandville shop. We have fresh coffee and Wi-Fi to keep you comfortable while we take care of your vehicle. Depending on your vehicle and the type of recalibration it requires, we may occasionally need to work around the weather, but we’ll let you know when scheduling.

No. We do not reattach aftermarket accessories. This includes dash cameras, third-party sensors, and any other non-factory-installed items. Factory-installed rearview mirrors and sensors are reinstalled when applicable.

We offer mobile service throughout much of West Michigan! Our service area includes Grand Rapids, Grandville, Jenison, Hudsonville, Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Cedar Springs, Caledonia, Wayland, Hastings, Allegan, Kalamazoo, Portage and many surrounding communities.

If the damaged area is smaller than a quarter, we can usually repair it. A chip repair is a preventative repair, not a cosmetic fix. While the repair may improve the appearance of the damage, the chip will still be visible after the repair is completed. The primary goal is to strengthen the damaged area and help prevent it from spreading. In some circumstances, a chip or crack may spread during the repair process, and West Michigan Auto Glass is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of the repair attempt.

Your VIN helps us provide the most accurate quote possible. Vehicles can have several different windshield options and safety features, even within the same year, make, and model. While a VIN doesn’t always tell us everything, it gives us the best starting point for identifying the correct windshield, parts, and services for your vehicle. We may ask a few additional questions just to make sure we get it right!

No, we do not currently offer window tinting services. We specialize in auto glass repair, replacement, and advanced safety system recalibration.
