Warranty
Replacements:
We stand by the work we do, if you experience any wind-noise or leaks, call us and we will get it fixed as soon as possible**
Please note: A leak-free windshield cannot be guaranteed if there is frame damage or rust present on the pinch weld. If rust is detected, all warranties are voided. We will inform you promptly if such issues are found. In the event rust is present, we work closely with trusted local body shops that can repair the damage to ensure a seamless, leak-proof installation.
Repair:
A repair is a preventative fix, not a cosmetic one — the chip may still be visible after the repair. If the crack spreads from the previously repaired chip, we will apply the cost of the repair toward the cost of a new windshield, as long as it's within 90 days of the original repair date.
Please note: In rare cases, attempting to repair a windshield can cause the chip or crack to spread. West Michigan Auto Glass is not responsible for damage that occurs during a repair attempt.
R&I:
We cannot guarantee the preservation of any glass piece during the removal and installation (R&I) process. In the event of breakage during removal, the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with a full replacement.
Warranty Exclusions:
We stand behind the quality of the parts we provide and the expertise of our technicians. However, parts supplied by the customer are not covered under any warranty.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by vandalism, theft, post-installation accidents, negligence, acts of nature, rock chips, or any issue unrelated to defects in materials or workmanship. It also does not apply to failures resulting from not following our post-installation care instructions.
In the unlikely event that damage occurs to your vehicle during auto glass repair, removal, or installation, West Michigan Auto Glass will cover the cost of repairs through our designated body shop. If you choose a different shop, we will reimburse you up to the amount quoted by our body shop before any work is completed.
**WE MUST BE NOTIFIED OF ANY DAMAGE OR INSTALLATION ISSUES WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE ORIGINAL REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
